clothesline

Dear friends,

We are so disappointed to tell you that there will not be a 2008 spring sale. Problems with the sprinkler system in the building we rented are more extensive than we had anticipated. By the time we realized that we couldn't use the building, it was too late to find another place for a pre-Easter sale.

Since we had already lined up new boutique designer stock for the sale, we are going to go ahead with a sale of these new overstock and sample items. There will be thousands of items. The announcement is below.

If you are interested in selling your used clothes, there is several area sales scheduled for March 8 and later. Some of them use the same barcode system we use so possibly they'd let you use the selling number and tags you already have (for this sale). Kids Everywear (www.KidsEverywear.com) is located at the outlet mall in Morrisville, by the airport. They ued to have the same barcode system. You must sign up online for this sale and it usually closes out, so if you're interested, contact Beth Pendola now.

Our barcode system lets us print tags or labels (Avery self-stick mailing labels). If Beth requires that you have a new selling number, you could print these labels and lay them over you barcode on our tags.

The sale in Smithfield and the Triangle mothers of multiples sale (if you are a member) at the fairgrounds are also on March 8.

The sale in Wake Forest will begin March 27 (KidAroundKidSale.com bought TheKidzKunction.com either website will work.

We hope that you'll find another sale for this spring. We regret the inconvenience we've caused you, but I can assure you that no one is more disappointed than we are.

Sincerely,

Corinne and Kim

We are still looking for someone who would like to take over this sale. It has been an important part of our lives for 23 years and we d like to pass it on to someone who would continue this profitable sale and enjoy it as we have.

There have been many calls from our consignors saying how much they enjoy our sale that do not want it to end. We have worked hard to establish a sale with a reputation for high standards and a personal touch.

It is very important to us that the Nearly New Clothing Exchange continue. Therefore, we are willing to sell it at a very reasonable price.

If you or any of your friends are interested in purchasing the business, please call either of us
